Fertilizer export data from January to September 2024

From January to September 2024, the cumulative total export volume of various fertilizers in China was 21.78 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%. The cumulative export amount was 6.03 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 15.1%, and the average export unit price was 277.1 US dollars/ton, a year-on-year decrease of 13.7%.

Among the major fertilizer export markets, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Thailand, and Myanmar are the top five markets for China's fertilizer exports from January to September this year.

Among the main export varieties, the export of diammonium phosphate was 3.29 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.9%; The export of ammonium phosphate was 1.571 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; Ammonium sulfate exports amounted to 11.762 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.5%; The export of urea was 254000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 91%; The export of heavy calcium reached 1.841 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 30.7%.

In September, the export volume of various fertilizers in China was 3.125 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.6%. The export amount was 930 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 13.8%, and the average export unit price in September was 298.8 US dollars/ton.
